Lab Support is looking for a technician with experience in quality testing to join an established team based in Northamptonshire. Our client, a leading milling company, requires a technician to take a more senior role, helping to co-ordinate testing across three sites in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be required to be hands on, carrying out quality testing, as well as ensuring all holiday/sickness is covered adequately. Other responsibilities will include reviewing quality data, monitoring trends and investigating any issues, reporting to senior management. They will also be required to communicate with customers and suppliers, producing quality certificate and resolving any problems.
Candidates should have some experience in quality testing within either milling, agricultural or brewery environments ideally. Experience from a different food or environmental background will also be considered. Candidates should be looking for a new challenge, with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive and flexible attitude
Candidates will be required to travel to sites within Cambridgeshire, and therefore will require access to their own transport.
