Biophysical Scientist- Spectroscopy
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Biophysical Scientist- Spectroscopy to join a leading CRO based in West Yorkshire. As an Application Specialist in Spectroscopy you will be working with the company's innovative technology used to probe protein stability within samples. More specifically you will be responsible for interpreting spectroscopic data to look for trends in the structure, stability and characteristics of biologics. You will also be responsible for planning and measuring diverse samples to produce technical documents and posters and presentations. The successful candidate will work with a team to develop products and applications for the company's portfolio. Some international travel may be involved with the role as you will provide training and consultancy to customers.
To be considered for this role you must hold a PhD in a relevant research field. This educational background will be coupled with significant experience of using spectroscopic equipment and in handling biological samples- ideally proteins. Candidates must also be confident in analysing spectroscopic data and have excellent interpersonal skills.
