Editor - STM Publishing - South East - London
An experienced Editor is now required to cover maternity leave at a leading medical publishing company in London. This is a great opportunity to work at an independent company, which publishes a wide range of medical titles such as cardiovascular and vascular in both online and newspaper formats.
As the Editor, you will be responsible for the preparation of manuscripts for publication including writing, copyediting and proofreading text across both print and digital media. This will include developing the content for the websites, apps, newsletters and social media sites. With your medical/ scientific expertise, you will attend a variety of conferences within Europe and the USA to gather news/ information for the relevant fields. Furthermore, you will work alongside clients to help to develop creative solutions for their briefs.
To be considered for this excellent editorial opportunity, you should have previous experience within STM publishing. Furthermore, you should be able to demonstrate superb editing and writing skills and confidence in using Quark/ InDesign, Excel and MS Word.
