Senior Scientist - Membrane Protein Crystallography - Oxfordshire
A leading Biotech company based in Oxfordshire is currently seeking a Senior Scientist with experience in Membrane Protein Crystallography. They are situated in the hub of Biotech companies situated in Oxfordshire and they are at the cutting edge of the research and development of novel drugs in several therapeutic areas. They are currently undergoing rapid growth and it is an exciting time to be joining the company.
You will be joining the Structural Biology Team and working closely with the Discovery Team you will play a pivotal part in the development of novel small molecule drugs.
To be suitable for this role you will have a relevant BSc/MSc/PhD in a relevant field coupled with good experience in Membrane Protein Crystallography. The successful candidate will also have experience in protein expression (Insect, mammalian or yeast) and protein purification. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of biophysical characterisation of membrane proteins and protein-ligand complexes.
