Clinical Research Nurse - Manchester - Clinical Research
A growing global Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) currently has an opening for a Clinical Research Nurse to join their ever expanding team. This position is to be based in the Manchester area. It is a 6 month fixed term contract role.
This is a Monday - Friday daytime position!
As a Clinical Research Nurse you will be working on studies within several different therapeutic areas but in particular osteoporosis and diabetes. You will be responsible for:
*Identifying ways to increase patient numbers.
*Carrying out screening visits.
*Encouraging patients to see the trial through and to participate in future trials.
*Recording accurate data.
*Keeping up to data drug and specimen records,
*Ensuring that patients are comfortable with the treatment.
*Carrying out required tests.
Ideal candidates for this Clinical Research Nurse's role will hold a relevant nursing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You should also have at least 2 years nursing experience with some of this experience preferably being gained within Clinical Research.
