Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract

A Design Company is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be working on a project in consumer products and will require having experience with technical products, such as medical equipment and devices, FMCG, consumer products and commercial equipment.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have:

*An engineering first degree and postgrad in Product Design with ideally with 5+ years exp
*Experience working either in industry or consultancy developing products or equipment, ideally
*within the medical, commercial equipment or consumer appliance industries.
*Demonstrable management experience of people, programmes, resource and design.
*Well-grounded in engineering science theory and able to demonstrate the practical experience of
*having designed polymer structures, flexures and mechanisms, ideally motor-powered or mechatronics.
*Demonstrable experience of working within technical and regulatory frameworks.
*Excellent presentation and communication skills.
*Proficient in CAD (ProE or Solidworks).
