We are looking to bring on-board a skilled Senior Java and Ruby developer to join the development team within a successful bio-informatics research group based in Cambridge UK. Working on a variety of cutting edge projects, products and platforms, this is a truly fantastic opportunity for the successful individual to join a thriving working environment with great career progression and a world renowned reputation.

The management of large scale data production, sensitive data and laboratory information management systems requires a unique and skilled approach. Working in this environment at times can be highly pressured and often projects have to be completed to deadlines. Therefore we are looking for a skilled developer who not only understand the technologies involved but can demonstrate the ability to execute them in a pressured environment.

A solid knowledge of Java and an excellent understanding of Ruby on rails will be key to this role. An understanding of Python, Spring and Django will give you a significant advantage as well as experience working within a research environment.
