Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage budgets on all projects for which responsible.
Planning and process improvements.
Co-ordinate activities and monitor projects across all PSCs within the BAOS division.
Drive the delivery of projects and opportunities across the enterprise.
Manage cross-functional resources to ensure efficient delivery of results.
Develop the competences in line with developing and changing requirements of the project.
Report monthly on project status covering cost, risks, milestone status, issues, client issues etc, into the board.
Sign-off on Purchase Requisitions as required.
Support and promote good teamwork across the departments and act in line with the values.
Preparation, management and reporting of projects to Board Level.
Sign-off on Purchase Requistions up to £3K.
Qualifications:
A combination of strong commercial and engineering acumen with relevant experience.
Proven track record of management and reporting to budgets (circa £1m).
Proven ability to work across and vertically in medium size organsations.
Engineering degree qualification or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Solid practical engineering knowledge and experience
A good knowledge and application of methods, tools and applications in a high-tech Engineering business a distinct advantage.
Excellent people management, interpersonal and communications skills.
Working across commercial and engineering teams to deliver on the objectives.
A strong negotiator and influencer both internally and externally.
Ability to work on own and in teams and must be able to demonstrate initiative are essential.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for role.
