Territory Sales Manager - Laboratory Products - Based Scotland - To £35K basic plus commission
This major supplier of scientific laboratory products seeks a Territory Sales Manager to cover accounts in Scotland - ideally you will be based close to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
You will be responsible for the sale of the company's laboratory products including laboratory plastics, pippettes, pippette tips, centrifuge tubes and other consumables.
Your aim is to grow the business on the allocated territory by finding new customers and keeping existing ones. The goal is to out-perform the growth of the market. You will achieve the forecast sales for the territory by persuading customers to buy existing and new products. You will maintain records on a daily basis of customer visits and other activity by using the computerised system provided. You will identify and develop key accounts, prepare sales forecasts and attend exhibitions.
You should have a scientific background in a Life Science. Ideally you will already have some previous scientific sales experience but if you are determined to move into a sales career and can convince us of that, you are very welcome to apply. It is expected you will be educated to Degree level in a relevant subject.
