Mediprobe Research Inc. (www.mediproberesearch.com) is situated approximately 2 hour drive south-west of Toronto in London, Ontario Canada; a city with a thriving research community as it is also the location of the Western University (UWO).
We are recruiting a Mycology Technician (BSc/Msc) or Scientist (PhD) with a proven track record in an accredited laboratory. Experience in identification of dermatophyte fungi and non-dermatopyte molds through traditional culture and KOH preparations is essential.
Our facility is headed up by Dr. Aditya Gupta MD PhD, a Board Certified Dermatologist and world leader in research into fungal infections of the skin, hair and particularly nails (onychomycosis).
In our internationally accredited laboratory we conduct basic science research into fungal infections.
In addition we conduct clinical trials of new drugs/formulations of drugs and devices in treating fungal infections with a particular area of expertise in onychomycosis.
