CONTRACT - Lead CRA - No monitoring - Ophthalmology
My client is a global Pharmaceutical company who are urgently looking for a Lead in-house CRA to join their team on a contract basis for 12 months. Ideally you will have a proven track record as a Senior CRA. Please note this is a 5 day week full-time position and you will be based onsite at our client's HQ in the Buckinghamshire area. This role goes beyond that of a traditional CRA and involves mentoring, planning, issues management, and taking accountability for the work carried out by other CRAs on the given study. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced CRA who is looking to take a step back from monitoring.
ROLE
You will report to the Clinical Manager, assisting in the execution of clinical studies and will be responsible for certain countries within the study. Tasks will include preparing, collecting, and tracking master study level documents and site non-regulatory documents, reviewing, updating, and testing clinical systems, producing reports on clinical status, trends, and metrics, facilitating communication across all departments, supporting the monitoring team and study sites with relevant study information, and supporting clinical operations.
This exciting role will give an experienced CRA opportunity to work with a global pharma and move away from a monitoring intensive role whilst gaining responsibility for your own countries within the study and learning invaluable 'bigger picture' skills within the drug development lifecycle.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable CRA experience preferably gained within a CRO setting
- UK experience (essential)
- Other European experience (desired)
- Full study project life cycle experience
- Experience in mentoring junior CRAs
- Experience in reviewing monitoring reports
