The Company:
My client are a highly successful contract manufacturers of API's based in the West Midlands of the UK, they currently have around 1500 staff at their site, in which they have departments such as manufacturing, QC, Analysis, production, Pilot Plant, QA, sales and marketing, all of which employ chemists.
My client are a world leader in what they do, they're currently going through expansions through out all departments and offer career progression as standard.
The Role:
The role of QC supervisor will involve looking after QC analysts, Senior QC analysts and analytical chemists in an extremely busy contract manufacturing environment, the role will involve making sure all analysts work to strict GMP/GLP guidelines in accordance with manufacturing procedure, you'll be working with a number of specialist analytical equipments such as HPLC, GC, LC, NMR, UV-VIS, IR, you'll be expected to train other members of staff on these equipments.

The Skills:
The suitable candidate should have a minimum of a BSc in Chemistry or a very closely related subject, candidates need to show previous experience with team leading, supervising or managing other members of scientific staff. Candidates need to come from a pharmaceutical background previously, ideally working with API's.
Candidates should have experience working within QC or Analysis.
