The Company:
My client are a large chemical manufacturing organisation based in Worcestershire, they are currently seeking talented chemists to join their well established science teams.
The Role:
The role will involve working giving customer and technical support of work in a desalination laboratory, you'll be required to conduct service visits, and attend sales meetings and have understanding of all product features, applications, limitations and uses. You'll be expected to give technical training in desalination to the in house sales team and customer support team, so said teams can be fluent in all areas of the technical support within chemical engineering and production. You'll be expected to set up a laboratory within desalination and antiscalents. This role will involve spending at least 1 month away a year, usually to clients in the Middle East. This role will be answering to the projects director.
The Skills:
The suitable candidate should have a minimum of a BSc in Chemistry or a very closely related subject, ideally the candidate will have been in a desalination/water treatment/oil and gas. Candidates should have some experience of customer relations in previous scientific roles. Ideally the candidate will have set up laboratory operations previously.
The salary is negotiable depending on the technical skill of the candidate.
