1st Class Graduate Mechanical Engineer - Cambridgeshire - Scientific Engineering
An expanding Scientific Engineering company, based in Cambridgeshire, are currently looking to recruit a number of Graduate Scientific Mechanical Engineers. You will be working within an established team working on the design of new cutting edge technologies and also designing improvements on existing products.
This company has been working on the advancement of the Semiconductor Engineering field over a number of successful years. You will be presenting your ideas to your peers on a regular basis, due to this you must have strong communication skills, both written and spoke.
The design work you will be performing will be on 3D CAD systems, so knowledge of SolidWoks or Pro-E will be very advantageous. You will need to have designed and developed CAD solutions, ideally within your education or in your first role in industry.
As your entire peer group hold high level degrees or PhD's you will need to hold, as a minimum, a 1st or 2:1 degree within a Mechanical field, if your degree focused on Semiconductors, Vacuum Systems, Pneumatics Systems or Gas Systems this would be excellent.
It would be ideal if you also hold a PhD, but not mandatory. If you were successful in applying for this role you will be welcomed with a strong salary and benefits package. You will also be given a lot of support and training to progress your career.
