The Company:

My client are a large manufacturer of household and personal care items based in Cambridgeshire they are currently looking for a bulk process chemist to supervise the department.

The Role:

The role will involve the bulk formulation of household detergents and chemicals, working to strict personal care and household formulation standards, most formulations you'll be working with are biocidal or herbicidal. You'll also be responsible for batch release and data of the formulations.

The Skills:

The suitable candidate should have a minimum of a HNC in Chemistry or a very closely related subject, candidates must have experience of bulk chemistry, formulation chemistry or development chemistry. The ideal candidate will ideally be coming from a household detergents, biocides or cosmetics background. Candidates with previous supervisory experience will be highly considered.

As this role may involve working with large amounts of liquid due to it's nature, candidates will ideally have a good level of personal fitness.

Unfortunately this role is not suitable for a fresh graduate or a trainee.
