Mass Spectrometry Team Leader - South East

 

Exciting opportunity for a Team Leader within the Research and Development group of a highly regarded laboratory!

 

We are seeking an accomplished mass spec scientist to lead a team of analysts within a dedicated method development facility. This is a hands-on role with a heavy focus on developing novel LC-MSⁿ and/or GC-MSⁿ methods for the analysis of small organic compounds in a variety of complex matrices. You will take overall responsibility for the timely delivery of high profile projects within budget and specification.

 

You must possess strong sample extraction skills (able to develop innovative preparation methods) and exceptional mass spec method development skills; either GC-MS and/or LC-MS. This will come from significant industry experience.

 

As you will also provide technical leadership and daily guidance to a small team, you must be able to demonstrate project/team leadership experience, along with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
