Instrument Operator Medical Devices Cambridge
Fixed Term 3 Month Contract.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an instrument Operator to carry out and support the development of novel chemical sensors and biosensors. You will assist in the preparation, manufacture and testing of micro machined chemical sensor arrays.
This will involve testing the optical, electrical and chemical characteristics of the sensor arrays using specialist equipment. Full training will be provided over a 3 week period and once trained you will be expected to help and train other members of staff where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to perform tasks carefully following detailed instructions and have a methodical approach to problem solving. You should also have a thorough understanding of Microsoft office tools.
The working hours will initially be 9:00 till 17:30 then it will move to 13:30 till 21:00 with some day reverting back to 9:00 till 17:30. The role will be for a period of 3 months initially.
