Experimental Technician – Pilot-Rigs, Novel Adsorption, Process Plant
Ref: 17513
Permanent, North West
Our Client, Arvia Technology, is the innovator behind a revolutionary technology to remove organic contamination from diverse aqueous effluents. This entrepreneurial organisation is ready to penetrate the markets and now seek motivated individuals to work with them.
The Experimental Technician will be the expert for the Arvia treatment cell hardware and the associated plant. This innovative technology combines fluid dynamics, electrochemistry, and novel adsorption technologies in an exciting proposal for removal of organic contamination from aqueous effluents. The Experimental Technician will gain intimate knowledge of hardware optimisation of the rigs, thus enabling them to carry out product development trials and smoothly commission rigs on-site or train operators at client’s request. Trouble-shooting will be carried out efficiently in a hands-on way, stripping down rigs when deemed necessary.
Initially based on our client’s site but this role will take the Experimental Technician to their client sites across the UK (including those with restricted access to non-British citizens) and as the organisation increases product sales it will have the potential for global travel.
The Experimental Technician role will suit candidates with process-plant experience preferably gained in a chemicals production or process industry plant.
The successful candidate will be qualified to HNC / HND / degree in a discipline such as mechanical engineering / chemical engineering with practical hands-on experience such as plant operation and engineering.
