Senior Statistician in Nottinghamshire! Clinical Research - Statistics - Derby - Leicester - Statistician - SAS Programming - Nottingham
An opportunity for a Statistical Programmer / SAS Programmer has opened in Nottinghamshire with a well established Clinical Research Organisation who are global leaders in drug development services from early phase to post-approval. They are seeking an experienced individual to join the Biostatistics department on site at their office in Nottingham, UK. This company are providers to Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clients and they have had solid growth over the last few years. Presently, they support all phases of drug development and offer services in medical writing, clinical monitoring, biostatistics and quality assurance.
In this role as a Senior Statistician / Senior Biostatistician will involve assisting the Director of Biostatistics / study statistician with the statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trials. You may also be involved in the following:
* Performing programming, validation and production of data summaries for clinical trials
* Interacting with internal departments, sponsors and other third parties regarding requirements
* To perform programming and validation of derived datasets
* To assist in the preparation of statistical analysis plans
* Assisting in the programming, validation and production of tables, listings and figures for statistical reports
* Working with developments in statistical software used within the company
Candidates suitable for this role will hold around 3-4+ year's experience as a Statistician within a Pharmaceutical or Clinical Trial environment. You must also be educated to degree level with excellent communication skills and time management skills and you must also work with close attention to detail.
