Programmer - Contract - Basel
I have a great opportunity for an experienced programmer to work for a reputable Pharma Company based in Basel with excellent daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful programmer will to support the Data Conversion Factory (DCF) by performing the following tasks for Oncology NovDD studies:
*Support the upcoming outsourced conversion projects
*Execute other tasks related to the set-up foundational work for DCF
*Guarantee the Oncology CDRR development with DCF knowledge and expertise by establishing a standard process and providing training material
*Act as data standards subject matter expert, e.g., review evolving data standards, answer questions about the standards from DCF vendors or brand/study teams, answer mapping questions regarding general, cross project data elements
*Review and provide feedback on mapping specifications, converted data files, process documentation, and other DCF vendor deliverables
*Attend meetings with DCF vendors, brand/study teams, DCF team, as needed
*Provide support on general standards-related work
*Develop generic individual data checks to manage data issue handling for DMC report according to SPS coding standard rules
*Setup standard DMC output calling program
*Execute test scripts for validation purpose according to Oncology CDRR standards
*Provide support on general standards-related work
*Participate to meetings with project team
The successful Programmer will have:
*Experience using SAS in the analysis and the reporting of pharmaceutical data
*Working knowledge of database design/structures
*Expertise with SAS (Base, Macro, Stat, Graph)
*Knowledge of Sharepoint
*Experience in Oncology therapeutic area
This role would essentially be for 6 months with the view of being extended.
