Director for Challenge Prizes
£55-80k plus benefits

2 year fixed term contract
Full-time or part-time 4 days per week


We are now looking for a new Director who will lead the Centre for Challenge Prizes, taking responsibility for its strategy, management and development. You will build effective relationships across all sectors and disciplines –
including innovative businesses, public sector, the not-for-profit sector and government bodies – to deliver a portfolio of ambitious challenge prizes.

You will represent Nesta to a wide range of audiences and work closely with the Policy Research and Skills team to identify opportunities for research into prizes.

With a strong track record of working in partnership with organisations across a range of sectors, you will also need experience of designing, developing and delivering innovative ventures or programmes. You will also be an experienced team leader with excellent communication skills, and a background in successful marketing.

Experience of running and designing prize competitions or other projects that involve mobilising large-scale collaboration would also be an advantage.
