
Medical Liaison Manager -Midlands - Pharmaceutical
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Medical professional to join a global, highly reputable Pharmaceutical company based in Leeds in the North East of England as a Medical Liaison Manager specialising in Hematology, Oncology, and/or Anti-infectives on a permanent field based (covering Midlands & North UK) basis.
This world leading pioneering company specialises in a broad portfolio of generic pharmaceuticals and technologies to improve patient safety, productivity and reduce costs.
As the Medical Liaison Manager you will report to the Head of Medical Advisory and you will have the following responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
*Provide a thorough medical insight into the therapeutic areas for the company's products (biosimilar biologic agents, oncology, haematology, specialty injectables and devices) across the UK.
*Develop and execute the UK Medical Affairs strategic plan, including roles in the delivery of symposia at UK, local publications, KOL mapping and deployment plans.
*Provide medical support as required to a team of Clinical Nurse Trainers who focus on supporting our Devices Sales Team with Medical Device evaluations and implementation.
*Be involved in the implementation of UK phase IV clinical development activities including regulatory required risk management plans to generate data according to our evidence gaps and in compliance with EMEA and company regulations
*Maximise the companies brand value proposition in assigned therapeutic areas and partners with the UK Marketing Team in the development and execution of the UK Medical Marketing plans and commercial activities
*Sign off UK Medical Affairs activities and medical-marketing materials for the brand / therapeutic area
The role will require you to have obtained a medical or science degree as well as at least 2 years experience in a Medical role in the Pharmaceutical Industry and experience in Hematology, Oncology, and/or Anti-infectives. You will also have knowledge of the ABPI code and experience with phase IV clinical study management.
