Area Sales Manager - Medical Devices - Midlands
A fantastic new career opportunity has arisen with an international medical device organisation that is currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their commercial team, in the Midlands. This company is renowned for the drug delivery devices that they manufacture and sell to healthcare professionals across the globe. Due to continual growth, they require an experienced sales professional to manage their hospital accounts.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing hospital-based accounts in your assigned region, as well as actively finding new opportunities to maximise business opportunities in the Midlands. You will be required to regularly meet Clinicians, Consultants and Procurement Managers across multiple hospital departments. Not only will you be responsible for identify new business opportunities, in which, you will be approaching prospective clients to build good working relationships, but also handling major NHS accounts of existing clients. This growing organisation is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager who will be required to represent the company's product portfolio at conferences, and working closely with the Commercial Manager to submit tenders for new accounts.
To be considered for this role, you will a strong background in medical devices sales with a good understanding of the NHS organisation. As this is field based position, the Area Sales Manager must hold a valid driving licence (preferably clean) with computer literacy and strong negotiating skills.
