Our client a medical device company based in Surrey are looking for a senior product design engineer.

Responsible for planning and execution of new product development projects, providing high-quality engineered joint replacement prostheses and associated instrumentation in line with Company strategy and customer requirements, on time and within budget. Required to engage in and support research, marketing and production work; project management including project planning and taking full responsibility for NPD documentation and design history files; conducting reviews; design analysis (CAD), including simulation (FEA) and lab testing and test reports.

The successful candidate must be Degree qualified in engineering/product/industrial design or have equivalent theoretical and practical knowledge attained through vocational studies and experience. They must have:



· a proven track record of managing product development projects and product design within a regulated industry

· strong analytical competency and creative ability,

· CAD skills (Solidworks), FEA (theory and software), strong computational and MS office skills

· strong project management skills (PRINCE2 desirable).
