Technical Support (Sales) Executive
Salary: £35 - 40k + benefits
My client is looking to appoint a Pre Sales Technical Support Executive to actively introduce the clients product range to existing and potential customers and will therefore require a good understanding of the scientific industry practices and requirements. In this field base role you will build relationships with customers and businesses, giving presentations and expert guidance whilst developing your own knowledge.
As a Technical Sales Executive you will:
?Mange and support current business and generate new business
?Training, coaching and supporting Sales & Commercial to understand products and processes (including competitors) for paper, print and components including competitor products and processes and IPR
?Recommend technical solutions to suit defined customer needs
?Maintain an up to date awareness of external technical advances including those of competitors and suppliers and to ensure that Product Managers and information systems are kept up to date.
?Support agreed sales opportunities, Identify opportunities for cost savings and make constructive suggestions for change with Sales and Commercial Director.
?Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
?Maintain close links to Supply Chain and to R&D so that they can give accurate information to the business.
?Always act and behave in a way compliant with all company guidelines, policies and procedures, relating to Environmental Health and Safety.
?Share best practice and collaborate with colleagues outside of own sphere of business
?Contribute to market awareness and develop new business strategies
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
?Good degree or equivalent with a scientific subject
?Extensive experience of the either of the industry sectors papermaking, printing, holograms, newspapers or polymer materials
?Understanding of Quality Management System
?Ideally someone who has previous extensive sales experience within a scientific sector or in area relative to our field
?The post requires travel from time to time throughout UK and International travel.
?You need to be organised and willing to learn new challenges and able to communicate effectively at all levels confidently to customers and internally to team leaders and managers
?A full driving license is required.
?Should be living in a commutable distance in South England
