Our client is a major water company and they are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Scientist to join their team. The role is focussed on waste water compliance and ensuring treatment efficiency.

Role details:
Design and implement strategies to fully exploit the potential of the infrastructure and reduce OPEX.
Provide process advice and support to proactively reduce energy and chemical usage.
Develop and implement risk assessments and action plans .
For all of the above activities, take into account health and safety considerations for all personnel ensuring all aspects of appropriate Task Risk Assessments are adhered to/specific task risk assessments are developed where necessary.

Design and implement strategies to correct adverse performance trends to maintain compliance.
Scientifically lead the prevention and resolution of incidents and non-conformance affecting processes and network infrastructure.
Develop and implement risk assessments and action plans.
Support Operational Managers in handling customer complaints/enquiries.
Provide rotational scientific standby.
For all of the above activities, take into account health and safety considerations for all personnel ensuring all aspects of appropriate Task Risk Assessments are adhered to/specific task risk assessments are developed.

Develop and implement sampling programmes.
Measure process performance and interpret data and provide regular reports on compliance and performance.
Provide proactive service to identify adverse process quality trends .
For all of the above activities, take into account health and safety considerations for all personnel ensuring all aspects of appropriate Task Risk Assessments are adhered to/specific task risk assessments are developed where necessary.

Provide scientific data for consent applications process.
Interpret impact of new consents on existing processes.
Lead scientific and regulatory liaison with local Environment Agency.
Interpret and communicate policy and regulatory changes, helping to manage impacts to the local operations area.
