The Company:
My client are a large and successful manufacturer of polymer materials, based in Surrey, they are currently seeking talented chemists and scientists to join their team.
The Role:
The role Director of Operations will involve looking after several of the scientific operations, including R&D, Sales & Marketing, Analysis, Manufacturing and Warehouse. You'll have responsibility for budgeting across the departments, Sales Targets, company strategy and new product development. You'll be working on the Surrey site however you will have regular meetings and possibly travel to the head office in the US.
Salary is negotiable depending on the level of candidate.
The Skills:
The suitable candidate should have a minimum of a BSc in Chemistry or a very closely related subject, the suitable candidates needs to be of senior appointment level, candidates need to be from a departmental management or director level background previously. Candidates will ideally be coming from the paint or polymer industry and have a wide working knowledge of plastics.
This role is not suitable for a graduate or a trainee.
