Job Description: My client is looking to recruit a National Clinical IT Technical Support Specialist to work with them and third party instruments interfacing to hospital LIS,  IT product range (LIS interfaces).
Networking of their point of care products and offices.
N3 remote access and Information Governance.

 

 

Essential Skills: The role will involve extensive travel
throughout the UK so someone central would be preferred.
Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure - There is
a high support component to the role, and the appointed person will
alternate with an existing IT person to provide reactive support on a
weekly basis.

No specific IT qualifications are required, but candidates must have a reasonable level (3 years) of practical experience in IT.
Proven knowledge of Windows operating systems.
A knowledge of communication protocols - TCP/IP,RS232
Medical laboratory background essential.
A knowledge of Oracle and Java would be advantageous

 

Salary: about £41000 commensurate with experience. Plus bonuses, car,
and package

 

Location: Central England
