Job Title: International Marketing Manager – Immunodiagnostic Systems

Job Description: A new opportunity has arisen to join a blue chip company involved in the manufacture of antibodies and instrumentation used to detect certain cancers and immune deficiency diseases.
The role is very diverse and includes managing the Marketing Team, developing, defining, communicating and monitoring global marketing strategy for instrument Systems and realign where needed. Taking responsibility for all product launches, product life cycles and portfolio management across all platforms. To manage processes to support sales of product range globally. To take responsibility for negotiations, contractual agreements and relationship management of partnerships between the company and 3rd Party partners. To ensure effective liaison with Regulatory Affairs manager to ensure compliance. To ensure effective liaison with Scientific Affairs Managers to ensure scientific activities are in line with commercial needs. To ensure effective co-operation with production departments to ensure sales targets can be met. To ensure effective liaison with R&D departments regarding pipeline products. To take responsibility for establishing training plans and modules for marketing team, sales, specialists and distributors’ staff. To monitor sales vs. budget to determine activities required to ensure sales growth. To take responsibility for Department budgeting. To have a full awareness of market requirements and competitor products to adjust marketing plans in line with potential threats. To create promotional and technical marketing literature. To attend international exhibitions and meetings
Able to travel freely internationally and spend 30% time away from home including evenings and occasional weekends
Essential Skills: BSc or equivalent (Biology, biochemistry or immunology background). Excellent understanding of the in-vitro diagnostic market;
Experience of instrument sales in the diagnostic market; Experienced in Product Launches and management; Minimum of 2 years sales experience required and people management experience.
Personal skills: Organised and structured approach to work; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Excellent presentation skills in English; Developed numerical skills e.g. for costings, sales vs budget, profitability analysis, ROI; Computer literate

Salary: £55 – 60,000
