The role of Account Director will see you utilising your strong project management skills and scientific knowledge to enable you to deliver a vast range of services to all of their top clients. You will establish new as well as manage existing relationships with all professional relations and you will be the key contact at all times. This role will see you heavily involved in pubs planning for both new and existing drug therapies, conferences, symposia and all medical education projects in a variety of formats.
They have a strong collaborative approach to global communications which ensures that all clients realise the strong impact that innovative and forward thinking campaigns have at all levels.
As an Account Director you will provide strong leadership effectively and will direct your team members to ensure they accomplish all goals to deadline and to the very highest standard. You will be responsible for new business opportunities as well as overseeing and guiding brand strategy and tactics. Also you must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of every client’s business and will actively seek out further opportunities for any account development. Regular attendance at various industry association meetings (HBA, HMCC etc.) is an essential part of your role. Also as Account Director you will be responsible for all recruitment matters within the team as well as ensuring you are prudent when it comes to financial issues.
Skills
In order for your application to be considered it is essential that you hold a life science degree as a minimum. Ideally you will have followed it up with an MSc or Phd though this is not an essential requirement. Strong experience gained within Medical Communications is vital also.
