Clinical Research Associate I, II or Senior (CRA I, II, Senior CRA): An international biopharma is currently looking for a CRA based in the North of England/Scotland to fill a contract position. You will be field based and covering sites from the North West up to Scotland. This is a great role for a CRA to work in a specific region in the UK and therefore cut down on their travel. The client doesn’t often bring in contractors so this is a great opportunity to work somewhere new.

The client is a long-established international pharmaceutical company and a market leader within its specialist therapeutic areas. They place an emphasis on the importance of their CRA team’s development both personally and in terms of career progression so they invest in extensive training to cover all areas. Culturally they try and hold on to the personal, small-company feel whilst encouraging diversity and engagement.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Site management in accordance with protocol, SOPs and ICH GCP guidelines
· Site selection, initiation and closeout
· Onsite monitoring and co-monitoring with less experienced CRAs
· Management of site recruitment performance
SKILLS DESIRED
· Bachelor degree or equivalent
· Full UK driving licence
· CRA background essential – 6+ months minimum as a CRA in the UK (ICH GCP certification)
· Good knowledge of clinical trial methodology and environment
· Experience in diabetes therapy area beneficial
