Source BioScience is an international genetic analysis and diagnostics business serving the research and healthcare markets. The Group has its headquarters in Nottingham, UK where it operates state of the art GLP and CPA accredited laboratories, with other laboratory facilities based in Dublin, Cambridge, Oxford and Berlin.

Based at our headquarters in Nottingham, the successful candidate will be expected to work within a team of Bioinformaticans. You will have knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing and  microarray data. You will work closely with the Research and Development and Information Services teams to develop new techniques to support research projects. You will have experience of working to tight deadlines whilst meeting customer requests.

You are likely to have a science or Bioinformatics degree perhaps a PhD, previous experience in a similar post, and be knowledgeable and credible in the field of bioinformatics specifically in the area of genomics/molecular biology. You should be familiar with the life science services offered on our website.

The salary will be in the range of up to £40,000 per annum depending on qualifications and  experience.
