Junior Mechanical Designer - Imaging Technologies - Cambridgeshire
A well established Imaging company with over 25 years in the imaging sector are currently looking to recruit a new Junior Mechanical Designer due to the promotion of the previous person. You will be based on site, in Cambridgeshire, and get to work on some exciting optical, imaging and thermal technologies for a range of industries.
You will be actively involved in the new product design and product improvement using 3D CAD. Due to this you will need to have used SolidWorks either in industry or during your education.
This company work within a range of sectors including the MOD. Due to this you must be a British Citizen and be able to obtain Security Clearance.
You will need to hold a 1st or 2:1 Mechanical Engineering Degree from a leading university along with strong A-Level results. If you have industry experience working on the design of complex systems this will be useful, however we will consider candidates from University also.
