Business Development Manager - Diagnostics - Cambridge
A fast paced Scientific Consultancy is actively seeking an experienced business development consultant to join their biosciences team in Cambridge. Working with the top global scientific organisations, you will contribute directly to their success in building new business for their new products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with significant sales, consultancy and bioscience experience to develop the new business of this organisation.
Working from their offices in Cambridge, you will provide an excellent consultancy service in creating new products and developing new business for a range of companies within the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business on an international level and defining key strategies for new marketing campaigns. This is a very exiting position within the healthcare and diagnostics division where you will be a key player in this close knit team.
As you will hit the ground running, it is essential that you have at least five years of business development experience with consultancy contracts with the pharmaceutical, healthcare or scientific industries. In addition you will have an excellent academic record with a good degree and PhD in a life sciences subject, ideally in biochemistry, immunology or molecular biology related subject.
You will be meeting clients on a regular basis so excellent verbal communications skills are essential for this role. Due to these meetings, flexibility to travel both throughout the UK and internationally is required for success in this position.
