Reagent Supply Supervisor – Job Ref: 1094HEV
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to have an important role within a dynamic department. Following an initial training period you will work as the supervisor of a team manufacturing and evaluating antisera batches for various products across the company. Responsibilities of the position include stock control, resolving technical issues and ensuring reagents are supplied on time, in full and meeting the correct specification.
Applicants must have a good relevant scientific degree (or equivalent), excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and previous laboratory and supervisory experience. Candidates must have the ability to carry out performance reviews and staff training, as well as the day to day organisation of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a methodical approach with an attention to detail, and excellent team working and organisation skills will be required in this role. Previous experience of working in a production environment or of using nephelometric or turbidimetric analysers would be an advantage.
