Our client is a manufacturer of liquid based oral medications and they are looking for an experienced method development analyst to join their expanding team.
To develop suitable rugged physical and chemical analytical methods that will determine all necessary product parameters including physical characteristics, determination of active, degradation products, preservatives, and, if necessary, volatiles using the most suitable analytical instruments available to the company.
Primary tasks:
>?? To develop analytical methods that will adequately determine the necessary product characteristics that will eventually be required to release finished product and to monitor the storage stability of new products.
>?? To develop analytical methods in support of dissolution studies with practical involvement in the studies.
>?? To review existing products, processes, and analytical methods, recommending improvements as new techniques become available.
>?? To play an active role in the matrix management system, including project management when appropriate/required.
>?? Personal and company development must be perceived as a priority.
>?? In conjunction with team assist in training and technical development of other members of staff.
>?? To produce specifications for new raw materials and new products.
>?? To perform the necessary work required to validate all the above methods.
>?? To produce validation reports, methods of analysis, and other reports in a format that can be utilised by other departments.
>?? To ensure all work performed complies with GLP and where necessary, GMP.
>?? To remain aware of developments within the scientific fields and to ensure all products, processes, and analytical methodologies reflect current scientific practice.
