Data and Statistics Officer, West Midlands - Coventry - SPSS - SQL - Data Analyst - Statistician
A fantastic new role has become available in the West Midland for a Data and Statistics Officer to join a strong, experienced team in a junior or Senior office based role. This organisation is responsible for maintaining standards, improving confidence and distributing information about qualifications and examinations. They provide this service in England and in Northern Ireland and produce various statistical summaries and analyses, covering general and vocational qualifications, to help you understand the qualifications market.
They are currently looking for someone with strong experience using SPSS and/or SQL, ideally a Statistician or Data Analyst with experience in supporting large statistical projects. In this role as a Data and Statistics Officer, your responsibilities will include delivering statistical information, analysis and advice for research projects and to promote the services provided by the team.
You will also be involved in the management and contribution to large scale statistical consultancy projects requested by project leads/managers. Collaborating and interacting with your team and seniors is important and so good communication skills are essential.
