Graduate Algorithm Developer - Cambridge - Bayesian Inference

A Global Scientific Organisation, in Cambridge, is currently looking for a number of Graduate Algorithm Developers to develop into future Industry Consultants. You will be working on some of the most complex algorithmic and mathematical problems while designing successful signal processing algorithms. The projects you will be working on will be within the Scientific and Healthcare sectors, you will be programming in mainly C, MATLAB and C++.

The products that are designed & developed are used by organisations all over the globe, an interest in sensor, optical, radar and other complex technologies will be welcome as these will be the areas you will work on the most.

In the future you will develop into an industry consultant, this means you will need to have strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and be able to express your ideas to groups.

If you have any experience and knowledge of Bayesian Inference this will be very useful in this role. Due to the complex nature of these positions you will rely on Bayesian Inference, if you do not have Bayesian Inference knowledge you will be trained.

You will get to learn from some of the best minds in the Scientific & Healthcare sectors as you will be working alongside them. As you will be working with these types of people it is expected that you hold a 1st or 2:1 degree in an engineering, physics, mathematics, computer sciences or similar discipline, you will also need to have very strong A-Level results, particularly in Mathematical subjects. If you also hold a PhD in a relevant subject this would be ideal.

Although this is a Graduate level position we are still very interested to speak with you if you have a few years industry experience, or if you had a placement year during your degree or PhD.

This is an incredible opportunity for anyone wanting to establish an exciting and lasting career within the Scientific & Healthcare sectors. You will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary, benefits package and an unlimited self development.

I would recommend applying now if you are interested. For more information please contact myself, Andrew Welsh the Manager of the Medical Devices & Scientific Engineering Division at Paramount Recruitment, on 0121 616 3463.
