Are you looking for a great opportunity to do groundbreaking research? We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist with a strong background in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and gene editing techniques using CRISPR/Cas9 and Cas9n nickase systems. As a Research Lab Specialist you will have the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in acute myeloid leukemia and the mutations that cooperate with AML. Studies focus on understanding the underlying molecular pathology of the most common human acute myeloid leukemia variants including role of mutations in genes regulating normal B-cell development and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. You will be part of a fast-paced work environment and work closely with all members of the lab team, performing a variety of diverse experimental duties and data analysis. These duties will include cell culture, molecular biology experiments, DNA, RNA, protein purification and characterization.Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate scientific fieldMinimum Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field and eight (8) years (post-degree) of relevant work experience, with five (5) years as a Senior Research Tech, is required
A Master's degree in an appropriate scientific field and seven (7) years (post-degree) of relevant work experience, with five (5) years as a Senior Research Tech, is required
