JOB SUMMARY                                    Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000/year

 

This position is responsible for supporting the company in human resources policies and procedures with a focus on the acquisition of talent.  

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Sources and recruits for all positions; manages full-life cycle recruiting process.

  • Supports the development of recruiting strategies at target universities and industry associations; researches recruiting events.

  • Builds long-term relationships at target universities and industry associations to maintain a pipeline of exceptional talent.

  • Represents FSNS at recruiting events including career fairs, information sessions, interview days and networking dinners; attends national conferences and career expos

  • Provides information on company and job opportunities to potential applicants.

  • Supports the planning and implementation of the Internship Program.

  • Works with search firms or other placement agencies, and determines optimum recruitment method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool

  • Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.

  • Assists with arranging travel and lodging for applicants.

  • Conducts background and reference checks

  • Process and maintains I-9 verifications and E-Verify.

  • Evaluates paperwork for completeness and accuracy, makes changes and completes forms as necessary. Forwards paperwork to appropriate parties if the proper information is incomplete.

  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude towards company goals.

  • Prepares and maintains employee files.

  • Maintains and enters data into various human resources databases in a timely manner; ensuring the accuracy of information.

  • Runs reports from human resources databases as requested.

  • Provides employment verifications as requested.

  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Audits and processes a variety of confidential, human resources related documents.

  • Maintains confidentiality of company information.

  • Assists in the coordination of special projects, events or activities sponsored by human resources.

  • Assists with employee requests.

  • Performs all filing, copying, faxing and other clerical activities.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

     

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent preferred.

  • Two years of experience in recruitment required.

  • Technical and executive recruiting experience preferred.

  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
