JOB SUMMARY                                          Salary: $45,000 - 60,000


Collects, reviews and analyzes operational data to determine the total cost of materials and labor to conduct microbiological testing methods and chemical analysis services. 




  • Reviews laboratory testing methods to determine the costs of materials and labor to execute the tests

  • Will assist in developing pricing for new and existing services

  • Analyzes historical pricing and margins and recommends adjustments

  • Evaluate market, trends and influences of the industry related to services and pricing

  • Develop cost methodologies and models

  • Conducts special studies to establish baseline pricing for services provides by the company

  • Prepares data to assist Sr. Management on in preparing pricing structure

  • Responsible for complying with policies and procedures of company in developing a pricing structure

  • Prepares accurate and analytical reports to evaluate data

  • Identifies market influences and the impact on pricing of services

  • Evaluates volume of services and the impact on discounting pricing for the customer

  • Presents analytical data and charts evaluating discounting impact on profitability




  • Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related field

  • Very strong analytical skills demonstrated in prior work experiences

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required

  • Ability to use analytical data mining software such as SSRS or Crystal Reports preferred

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment but remain detail-oriented

  • Self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
