Role Purpose:

  • To manage the Global Policies and procedures
  • To ensure updates to policies has the input of business subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • To ensure all policies and procedures adhere to global formatting
  • To manage senior stakeholders to approve the policies and procedures
  • To manage deployment and training of the global policies

Scope:

  • To manage the QMS for the business.
  • To build a best in class QMS involving the management of consultants as appropriate to ensure the scope. Content, deployment and training are all best in class.
  • To manage deployment and training of the QMS, ensuring value for money by use of e-learning and other tools, such as training SMEs to help train out locally.
  • To develop e-learning modules to facilitate learning, Make use of the MyLearning RB tool, and other media as appropriate.
  • To expand the QMS from in or on the body to a company wide QMS.
  • To monitor the regulatory framework and ensure that policies and procedures stay ahead of new legislation, before a compliance gap exists.
  • Warn senior stakeholders of impending changes in the legislative and/or global policies and procedures which could impact resources.
  • To build and own a URS for a global documentation system, which can carry the global policies and procedures.

Responsibilities\Accountabilities:

  • Quality of the QMS policies and procedures
  • That policies and procedures remain in date
  • To adopt a best in class deployment and training of the QMS
  • To manage a team of deployment and training
  • To facilitate workshops with suitable SMEs to develop relevant policies and procedures
  • To facilitate sign off by the senior business leaders on new and revised global policies and procedures
  • To introduce a global documentation system
  • Demonstrate progress to senior management via clear KPIs, produced monthly, and presenting progress as required

Key Challenges:

  • To build a network of key stakeholders in the business to gain approval
  • Ability to facilitate SMEs towards the production of high standard policies and procedures
  • To work imaginatively to make use of the tools and abilities of the team to execute deployment of the policies and procedures in an effective manner
  • To keep up to date with an array of changing and evolving legislation that could impact policies and procedures.
  • To manage the above to tight deadlines

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Extensive relevant professional experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence
  • Knowledge of RB internal systems
  • In depth understanding of the quality aspects of pharmaceutical and medical devices with a working knowledge of cosmetic, biocide and general products

Technical / Professional Qualifications Required:

  • Degree in relevant Science subject
  • Experience of developing and running quality management systems.
