Regulatory Affairs Assistant - REACH - SDS - Chemistry - Permanent - Oxford - £25k-£30k
A world leading speciality chemical manufacturing business is currently seeking a Regulatory Affairs Assistant to join their team in Oxford on a permanent basis. You will play a key part in reviewing and creating safety data sheets whilst also having the ability to provide regulatory input for product commercialisations. If you hold a degree level qualification in Chemistry/Environmental Science (or similar subject) this represents a fantastic opportunity to start building a career in the field of regulatory affairs.
*Ensure product classifications are correct, including handling actions arising from manufacturing specification changes.
*Take responsibility in the write of safety data sheets and labels that have a primary use to the EMEA region using SAP software.
*Leads formulation HSE reviews for new product commercialisation.
*Respond directly to customer enquiries.
*Provide support in regulatory reporting e.g. product registrations.
*Provide support in supplier's safety data sheets process.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
*Degree qualification in ideally Chemistry or closely related field of study (environmental science).
*Have an understanding of hazardous chemical classifications and regulations.
*Have the ability to demonstrate where you have previously managed own workload priorities within industry.
*Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*Possess excellent communication skills.
*Familiarity of working with key systems. Experience working with SAP software is beneficial but is not essential.
