A new CRA is required to join a successful medical device company that applies and utilises advanced Quantum Physics principles to quickly detect a vast range of potentially life-threatening medical conditions. The new CRA will have the opportunity of becoming a trained Clinical Specialist, developing strong relationships, working with both external and internal stakeholders to assist in the set-up, implementation and monitoring of clinical studies.
Further responsibilities as a CRA include:
-Assisting the Clinical Lead in monitoring patients at different sites (performing on-site visits and monitoring activities in accordance with the protocol, ICH GCP guidelines, etc.)
-Educating other people and distributors on how to use the device
-Developing, maintaining and managing appropriate study documentation/study files plus ensuring compliance and understanding of study requirements by site contacts
-Reviewing and verifying case report forms and other clinical data for completeness and accuracy
-Participation in organisation of investigator meetings
An ideal CRA should have/be:
-Bachelor's degree/diploma in Life Sciences, Nursing or equivalent
-Minimum of 3 years' clinical research experience as a CTA/CRA preferably within the medical device or cardiology sector (or as a clinical research nurse)
-In-depth knowledge of ICH GCP and working knowledge of ISO 14155
-Driving licence with availability to travel nationally (40%)
-Confidence, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of his/her own work as well as prioritisation of concurrent projects
This new CRA role is perfect for someone who is looking to expand their research experience (either as a nurse or other) into a commercial environment and looking to make a real difference to people's lives. It is also ideal for people looking for an opportunity in monitoring, as this role does not require previous monitoring experience!
