Scientific Support Specialist

Do you hold strong experience within Cell Culture using either automated Culture systems or Bioreactors? Do you have good customer skills and looking for an opportunity to offer Technical guidance and troubleshooting to end users of Cell Culture systems?

My client based in the Cambridgeshire area works on the development, manufacture and supply of Cell Culture systems to a range of industrial. They are a leader in their field and following expansion of their Technical Support team, they now seek a Scientific Support Specialist to add to the scientific capability of the group.

The Scientific Support Specialist will assist customers with the use of company products, ranging from onsite training through to troubleshooting and advising on technical scientific issues.

The main responsibilities of the Scientific Support Specialist will be:

* Troubleshooting of customer technical process issues
* Provide remote applications support for main company product lines
* Onsite training of customer for use of company products
* Resolution of technical issues and identifying root cause with cell culture processes (product related or customer process related).
* Writing of technical application documentation
* Technical support of new products in the field.

To be considered for the Scientific Support Specialist opportunity, candidates will have the following experience:

* BSc, MSc or PhD (or equivalents) within a relevant area. (E)
* Strong hands on experience in Cell Culture of various cell types (E)
* Experience with Bioreactors (E) or Automated Culture systems (D)
* Familiar with Bioprocesses and Biologics process development. (E)
* Excellent customer focused mentality (E)
* Some commercial acumen/exposure (E)
