HRS currently have an exciting opportunity for a European Key Account Manager to join a leading Life Sciences company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the European Key Account Manager you will report to the EU General Manager, and will be responsible for generating and building new relationships within the Key Account's across Northern Europe.


Your duties as the European Key Account Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as following:

1. Identify new opportunities to develop relationships with KOL in Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical and Biotech accounts across Northern Europe, creating a strategy for each account to drive revenue growth.

2. Be an expert in the protein and antibody product range, working with customers to provide specialist knowledge of applications of antibodies in the areas of screening assays, clinical assays and companion diagnostics.

3. Design and plan customised projects for new antibody development with scientific and technical input, and negotiate master service agreements for these.

4. Maintain a strong knowledge of the Protein and Antibody market, customer trend and competitor analysis. Ensure customer feedback is also relayed back to development teams.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the European Key Account Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant MSc or PhD in a Life Sciences subject such as Molecular Biology, Genetics, Immunology or Biomedical Science.

2. Proven industry experience selling into the Life Sciences / Biotech Market, working across a number of territories, preferably across Europe.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience managing key customer relationships, and selling solutions in both a scientific and commercial environments.
