The UK Companion Animal Veterinary Technical Consultant's responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with UK sales and marketing to ensure activities are aligned with strategy and correct technical messaging
  • Collaborate with the technical and sales teams to provide support, coaching and training and share best practice
  • Develop relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders, and work with them to develop mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Provide technical support to customer enquiries and adverse event reports
  • Work within local and company guidelines of compliance and ethics and due diligence in interactions with customers, sponsorship and support of external companies and when developing materials in association with marketing and sales colleagues

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • A Veterinary qualification
  • Thorough experience of veterinary surgeon practice in UK companion animal practice
  • Proven sales track record and the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated technical and scientific knowledge at appropriate levels
  • Ability to develop long term business relationships
  • Willingness to learn new products and diseases when required
